호반문화재단

2004년 설립된 호반문화재단은 ‘지속 가능한 문화예술 생태계 구축’과 ‘예술의 가치가 발현되는 열린 플랫폼’을 비전으로 한국 시각예술의 성장을 지원해 왔습니다. 복합문화예술공간인 ‘호반아트리움’과 ‘아트스페이스 호화’를 통해 현대미술을 소개하며, 청년작가를 발굴, 지원하는 ‘전국청년작가 미술공모전(H-EAA)’, 창작공간 지원사업 ‘H아트랩’, 중견·원로 작가의 독창적인 예술 세계를 재조명하는 ‘호반미술상’을 운영하는 한편, 문화 소외계층의 예술 경험을 확장하는 ‘예술공작소’를 통해 차별 없는 소통, 아름다운 ‘동행(同行)’의 가치를 실현하며 창작자와 대중을 연결하는 가교 역할을 수행하고 있습니다.

Founded in 2004, the HOBAN Cultural Foundation has supported the growth of Korean visual arts under its vision of “building a sustainable cultural and artistic ecosystem” and creating an “open platform where the value of art can flourish.” Through its multidisciplinary cultural spaces, HOBAN ARTRIUM and Art Space Hohwa, the Foundation introduces contemporary art to the public while operating initiatives such as the HOBAN Emerging Artist Awards (H-EAA), which discovers and supports emerging artists; H-Art Lab, a creative space support program; and the HOBAN Artist Awards, which shed new light on the distinctive practices of mid-career and senior artists. Through its Art Workshop program, which expands access to artistic experiences for communities with limited cultural opportunities, the Foundation promotes inclusive communication and the value of meaningful “shared journeys,” serving as a bridge between creators and the public.
